Friends, let us not stop praying for Osh- for the fighting there between the Kyrgyz majority and the Uzbek minority. It seems that thousands have died- been murdered in their homes and on the streets. Neighborhoods have been ransacked. Food is scarce. Investigations are being done to controlling powers behind attacks that appear to be organized genocide.
All of these peoples need the Gospel. The church is yet to flourish here.
Pray for protection for refugees returning. For those serving on the ground. Pray for wisdom and clarity for investigations. Pray for relief aid to be distributed well. Pray for orphans, for families everywhere broken with loss. Pray for the whole community reeling from the pain of this traumatic catastrophe. Pray for peace. Let us weep and tear our garments and let us pray to our Father for peace....

Be glorified, Lamb of God, You who love and died for Osh.

Thanks for the link to the YouTube video ... and for the urgent reminder to pray. The press here barely speaks of it ... it simply doesn't rise to the level of the "importance" of the oil slick in the gulf ... lost jobs and dead fish vs. rank genocide.
