One of the reader-prayer-er friends here @ Prayer Fuel is Michael Oh, who will be speaking at this event. We are praying now and will continue, that the Lord would use you mightily... as Amy Carmichael wrote, "Make me Thy Fuel, flame of God."
May the Lord be glorified richly in this time and rise up many more laborers for the harvest. Will you join with us in praying that many new cross-cultural workers and supporters will come out of this time?

We encourage you to fast and pray too- however you see fit.

Oh God, fuel in us a passion for you that burns over all the the lesser distractions of our lives. Burn a fire that distills eternally worthwhile things and brings them to the top of our hearts and the tips of our tongues. Burn in us to love sacrificially the ones that you love and to care desperately that your Name be praised. May it be- may your name be hallowed- in all the earth.
We ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Great encouragement to see this post! Just sitting here at my desk feeling my mind wandering and thought I'd stop by to read any updates for prayer. We arrived back in Japan just 5.5 days ago. Would really appreciate prayer for the DG conference. I have important work to do on my talk especially receiving and weaving in stories of God's work around the world. If you have a particular story that you believe God would want shared with the global church please send it my way!
