pray for the Uyghur Johnny Cash

One of the guys that the husband here at prayerful meets with for language tutoring is a guy that really stands out as a Johnny Cash of his culture or maybe a Leonardo daVinci or ...

He's talented artistically, musically, athletically.  He's well loved by the Uyghur students on his campus.  He's close friends with a few foreigner Christian guys and he's heard the Gospel probably 40-50 times but as of yet, he's still brushed over the claims of Christ and the differences between the Gospel and Islam.  

Please pray boldly, fervently with us, that the Lord would arrest him however He must, but that somehow this friend would be seized with a full, deep awareness and understanding, a revelation of Christ, and that he would become a leader in his network to exhort other Uyghurs to trust Christ too!

There are a number of possibilities on the horizon that are really sweet and encouraging for one reason or another....  there's a business opportunity that could just be the stone for us to step towards Xin Jiang on (this is your class deal, BJ!), there's an investor looking to create a place here that our local company could provide business consulting for and it could become another super opportunity to connect with local Uyhgurs and other Muslims, and there's even a hope for our family to be able to buy a vehicle (a personal note, but wow, would it be sweet for our crew and oh how we hunger for the Lord to fill it with friends and opportunities to proclaim Christ!)  We'd love your prayers with us for these business possibilities and for wisdom and patience for us to follow His timing and provision.
